Sweet Tooth: New music from Chris Brown, Teairra Marie & Olivia

I heard this track floating around a week or so ago and I’m really feeling it! Most people credit the song as Chris Brown’s, but the voice you will hear first on this track belongs to Lonnie BeReal. He is a talented songwriter and up-and-coming Artist from L.A who is good friends with Brown and Teyana Taylor, who is also featured on the song’s chorus. BeReal is signed to Jamie Foxx’s Foxxhole Entertainment. According to his MySpace, BeReal has co-written 3 songs on Chris Brown’s Graffiti album, including I Can Transform Ya, as well as two tracks on Omarion’s Ollusion album. This song, called Favor starts off sweetly enough before it goes into full R&B freak mode boasting lyrics like,  “Scratch my back, bite your neck, welcome to the world of making sex” The song is produced by BattleRoy & J.Marlon. This a good introduction for BeReal and a nice Single for Brown as he is trying to get that sex status symbol back. Hit up BeReal’s Myspace or Twitter.

Teairra can’t stop and won’t stop – I have to admire the girl’s hustle! To follow the buzz she created with Sponsor, Teairra has leaked another track called Goodie Bag. Produced by Rico Love, the song sort of sounds like it stole Chris Brown’s Yo beat and ran with it… The lyrics are a little weak at first, but the chorus is pretty catchy. Teairra even shows off her pipes a bit with a high note. This is a cute song for the Summer, I’m feelin it.

Chew on This: Rihanna Talks to Diane Sawyer about Abuse

I watched this video and was quite taken aback. I expected to see Rihanna reading a rehearsed script orchestrated by her Publicity team. Not to say, this interview was not arranged in certain ways.  I will definitely check out the remainder of the interview when it airs Friday night on ABC.  Rihanna was actually fighting back tears – that really got to me! I’m glad she is able to finally say her piece and I’m glad she is choosing to speaking out. My favorite line: “Eff Love….because Love is so blind“. Ladies. I hope some of ya’ll are listening.

*Sidenote: Now that Rihanna has spoken out, she does realize she cannot take Chris back right?  Career-wise, people would never let her live it down if she took him back at this point. What did ya’ll think??

Music News ROLO: 4th Quarter Music Plus Videos by 50cent & Ne-Yo, Jay-Z & Alicia, Chris Brown

So I mentioned I would try to keep up with everything so lets run the Music ROLO!

First off, My dude over at The Doc Report did a nice Rundown of the what we should expect music-wise for the fourth quarter(year end) in music. There are some exciting releases from artists like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Shakira and Britney Spears all being released November 23rd (which he dubs ‘Super Monday’). Also Amerie and Ryan Leslie are releasing albums today (November 3rd)! R.Kelly will be dropping Dec. 1st, while Usher will battle Robin Thicke and Gucci Mane come December 8th. And of course the last push before Christmas will see releases from Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne and Rihanna’s ex, Chris Brown. Heavy. Make sure you check out the list in its entirety. I didn’t even know about some of these…Usher, are you really ready to come back for the crown again?? Hmmmm.

50 Cent & Kelly Rowland make beautiful music together – oh yeah, and Ne-Yo!

Cute video and a good look for Ms Rowland who looks cute as ever! Kelly has the most beautiful skin! I thought the song was going to be better than this – more hood, gutter 50, but this is actually a nice change for him. And damn, he is lookin right in the video too! Maybe its the new grill? Ne-Yo is forgettable to me in this song. Why is that?

ChokLit Fresh: Ester Dean – Drop It Low (feat. Chris Brown) video

Finally, the true identity of Ester Dean is revealed as her new video for her song, Drop It Low was released today. But still hiding behind large sunglasses and Keri Hilson-esque hair, I cannot say I could pick Ester out in a crowd after seeing this video. Ester enlisted the star power of once popular Chris Brown to add some needed publicity for the Single. I will admit at first I wasn’t really feeling the song too much, but it did start to grow on me. This video features cameos from Nelly, Keri Hilson (we see you Keri!!), Omarion (I never saw him), Rich Boy and CB of course. The dancing is cute at best, while CB does some ill footwork – even going sweaty and shirtless at the end. People are saying CB is making a comeback. I won’t hold my breath. But no hate here! Milk Dudd: CB – Apology

Have you guys heard this Tom Foolery?? I told myself I wouldn’t post anything from Woman Beater, but I was interested in hearing the track so I thought my Readers might be as well. I’m not gonna say too much, only that its not THAT kind of apology – meaning the right one. The song is something about a dude being sorry for cheating on his girl. CB is still whining his way through the lyrics and I am not impressed as usual – BUT I will say, I do like the vocal arrangement of the song and the subtle production. This could have gone to my boy Trey, or Ne-Yo..even Latif would have done the song justice…oh well.
