Before They Blow-PoP!: Introducing TRISH Pt. I

We have a treat for our ChokLit Community! A new Toronto-based artist named Trish is about to make some serious moves in the Industry, and we got the Exclusive on her here in the Choklit Factory! I spotted Trish performing at a show here in Toronto. She was on the stage with two of her male dancers, and sang a couple of her songs. The crowd was the typical picky T.O crowd, but Trish was rockin’ her set out and got the crowd very interested myself included. So I was able to score an interview with the up-and-coming Stunning Singer. Peep Trish’s Little X-directed video for her single, Don’t Watch Me, and some of her music after the jump!

Vodpod videos no longer available.
Trish feat. J.Diggz – Don’t Watch Me Directed by Lil X

I first heard Trish’s song Bump on a mixtape and was definitely feeling her sound. I would describe it as a Electro-R&B. Her music has a strong techno influence with the sexiness of R&B. But this is only one facet of Trish’s sound. I remember asking myself, Who is this girl? I wouldn’t have guessed she was Canadian, but she is shaping up to put Canada and this new sound on the Map. Check out some tracks below.

  1. That’s a good look for her doing a video with X. Hopefully this will open a few more doors for her. X videos are always so stylish. I love how he cuts his edits and uses that halo spotlight cinematography on his subjects when their dancing. Gives it a very voyeuristic feel. He’s also a fantastic drawer.
Anyone remember the J Diggz video, Puush It Up?

    • Yep sure do, great video! Also remember, Mario’s Let Me Love you? The design in that video was crazy! Little X always does his thing & Trish looks great in the video!

  2. […] you miss the two posts I did on Trish, make sure you check out Part 1 and Part 2 of the feature. Posted in ChokLitFactory Exclusives Tags: Do Dat Entertainment, […]
